Local blogger Daniel Durazo has an interesting first-hand account of the troubles at S&K. He went to buy pants and couldn’t find any selection. That’s not a good sign for any retailer.

“But once I started to look around, I was struck by how barren the store looked, especially when compared to the Mens Wearhouse I had just visited and in hindsight, to the Joseph A. Bank store I would visit next and where I would ultimately buy my pants. There was a lot of open floorspace, but not much in the way of selection for the items I was looking for.”
