From what I read of the depositions of executives, they thought the ARS would become liquid within weeks, so in that sense, they thought they were only paying out claims with new client money for a short time. This will eventually all come out....stay tuned.</description>

		<description>Great coverage and insight, but this is infuriating me. Is it a Ponzi scheme only if the execs knew the end was near? I don&#039;t think so. I think it&#039;s a Ponzi scheme by its very nature! I&#039;d love to hear from some of the Land America clients who got burned as to whether the risk factor was ever discussed with their representing attorney. With real estate attorneys&#039; fees in the tank over the last 9 months, I can imagine that those in position to get involved are falling over themselves.</description>
