Unnecessary expense for a club that had not proven itself in the black yet. Also the parking situation around there was evil. There is a very tempting and convenient lot behind the club, but it is privately owned and the tow trucks trolled it on a regular basis out of sheer greed because -- really -- as long as you are gone before morning when the workers who use the lot show up, who are you hurting? There was no genuine need to be towed at night. And what is the fan base for these touring regional bands? What was the average attendance for these shows compared to the overhead of staffing the club for that night and paying the band?
