BizSense will be hosting its second big event tonight — Reporting Local, Reaching Global. We’ve lined up a panel of experienced business journalists to talk about the sorts of stories journalists are looking to write, and to find out how those stories can propel a business.
The event is free and starts at 6:30 at Plant Zero.
This is not a superficial seminar on how to write a press release. Instead, it’s a candid discussion about the craft of journalism, and how local business professionals can better interact with the local business media, and in many cases reach a national audience.
Our panel — moderated by BizSense founder and Editor Aaron Kremer — includes writers from to Fortune, Inc., Black MBA and Virginia Business, as well as the former business editor at the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
There will be ample time for networking.
The event is sponsored by Groundworks Design and Plant Zero.
The event is free and starts at 6:30. Please RSPV by emailing Sarah Levine at Sarah@richmondbizsense.com.
