The Herd: promotions and new hires for 10.14.09

Elliot Fitzgerald has joined Spotts Fain’s Litigation Section. He focuses his practice in commercial litigation, employment, and intellectual property law. Previously, he served as a Judicial Clerk for the Hon. William D. Hamblen, Judge, 31st Judicial Circuit of Virginia. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and B.A. in History and Philosophy cum laude from the University of Florida and his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.
Thomas A. Carr has joined SyCom Technologies as vice president of vertical and emerging markets. He will also serve as a partner and member of the executive team. Tom has over 20 years of experience in vertical markets, including healthcare, assisted living, legal, retail, and the public sector.
Robyn Corrieri has joined Mondial Assistance as director, project management. Previously, she was business analyst manager at Circuit City.
Marian Harrison has joined Mondial Assistance as operations training manager. Previously, she was training analyst at Sabre Holdings, Inc.
Philip C. Dugger has joined Mondial Assistance as director of risk and compliance. Previously, he was director of risk management at US Oncology.
Robert W. Marshall has joined Taylor Long Properties as a commercial leasing agent.
Michael C. Weisberg has been promoted to vice president at Taylor Long Properties.
Carroll David Swenson will join Wells Fargo Private Bank as the regional manager for the Greater Virginia region based in Richmond, Va. Carroll will oversee all wealth management functions for the region, including private banking, credit,investment management, trust and estate services, and brokerage services. Swenson previously worked in Richmond as the regional rokerage manager for the Central Virginia region. Swenson received a bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in business administration from George Washington University.
