Attention, slumlords: A new local blog is calling you out.
Richmond Slumlord Watch is picking through the city’s vacant property registry and writing about the condition and status of dilapidated houses throughout the city.
According to the anonymous author, the mission is to “highlight blighted properties, delinquent property owners, and issues relevant to blight, slumlords, and neighborhood revitalization in the City of Richmond. Why? Because we care about our city.”
The blog follows the recent launch by the city of an Urban Blight Reduction Program.
