The Washington Business Journal has a neat story about how business owners in Virginia are going to hold the new Governor to his campaign promises.
“Some says that means clearing away the political gridlock in the General Assembly, while others say they want new funding avenues that didn’t involve new taxes. Though, most business leaders say they would prefer to at least keep increased taxes on the table to help pay for traffic solutions — McDonnell has vowed to block such measures — but they hope for compromise once potential problem-solving legislation emerges.”
