Virginia in another top 10 list

Aaron Kremer December 2, 2009 0

survivalVirginia is for lovers of rankings.

The state is the tenth best for entrepreneurs, according to the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council, an advocacy group based in Northern Virginia.  The Council just released its 2009 rankings. You can see them here.

Virginia is sandwiched between Alabama, at No. 9 and Ohio, at No. 11.

South Dakota won the Council’s top honors.

According to a press release from the organization, the Small Business Survival Index examines 36 government-imposed costs or impediments to small businesses.

The worst location wasn’t even a state: Washington D.C. was No. 51, New Jersey was No. 50.
