Kevin Barr has been appointed Executive Vice President for Ambulatory Care Operations for Bon Secours Virginia. Barr has been at Bon Secours 23 years, most recently as executive vice president, Bon Secours HealthSource & Bon Secours Medical Group. Barr has an MBA and BS from VCU.
Law:
Two associates have joined the Richmond law office of Setliff and Holland:
Sarah E. Minner and Danielle M. LaCoe, both of whom worked at the firm this past summer, will continue their work with the civil litigation team. Minner earned her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and undergraduate degree from Clemson. She will focus her practice on transportation law and FELA litigation.
Danielle LaCoe earned her degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and will focus her practice on transportation law. She went to Drexel University as an undergraduate.
Michael Yager has joined Spotts Fain law firm as a senior paralegal in the Litigation Section of the firm. A graduate of Old Dominion University and the College of William and Mary, he has been a paralegal for nearly two decades, most recently at Williams Mullen in Richmond.
Timothy J. Lockhart, leader of the Wilcox and Savage’s Intellectual Property Group, has been appointed Editor, North American Law & Practice Section, of the International Trademark Association (“INTA”) Bulletin for 2010-12.

Big Business:
Peter Durette has joined the MeadWestvaco as the new chief strategy officer and has also been elected as a vice president. Durette will oversee MWV’s strategy development and management process by integrating and aligning all strategy functions, and assisting the company’s senior leadership in developing next-generation profitable growth strategies. Most recently, Durette served in a similar role as vice president, Strategy and Business Development for Textron, Inc. Durette earned a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
