		<description>Thank you Phaedra for an accurate assesment of what is occuring.  I believe though you need to segment the buyers of these homes as the younger buyers are trending toward cost savings to insure their financial stability in their new home whereas the older buyers, such as the baby-boomers are the ones that are pickier about the quality and willing to invest in the quality amenities.  As a cental vacuum manufacturer we find that the higher-end buyers who do their research are keeping the central vacuum in the home because they see the long term benefits; in terms of health, energy consumption, lifestyle advantages and return on the investment.    You are also correct regatrding the homeowners staying longer in their older homes and adding amenities.  Even the central vacuum can be added without breaking open the walls.</description>
