		<description>I am guessing that this will be through the air waves which google put so much effort into when all the regular non-digital tv ranges went up for sale.  This would be called something like GiFi i believe or maybe google will make a spin and call it GoogleFi.</description>

We do have Fios as does many other localities. Fiber networks have been around for years and Richmond has several fiber trunks that surround the city. What Google is doing is installing a  network capable of Gigabit speeds, something that no one has yet.  It&#039;s an interesting project and looking at the number of cities that want it looks like it&#039;s going to stir up quite a bit of competition.</description>

		<description>What about FiOS?  Richmond will not get it...they have FiOS that covers a large amount of the city.  The only areas in the City that do not offer FiOS is downtown and Church Hill.</description>
