The plaintiff is seeking to a declaratory judgment that states that Trani and VCU’s action with regard to Saint Philip Hospital and Nursing School Dormitory, the Well at the Egyptian Building, the Jacob House and the African Burial Ground constituted damage of historic sites. The plaintiff is asking for: highly visible signage that marks the footprint of Saint Philip Hospital and Nursing School Dormitory; removal of pavement over the Well adjacent to the Egyptian Building and financing for a proper excavation; removal of asphalt covering cellar and foundation of Jacob House; and, an award of taxable costs incurred by the plaintiff in the prosecution of this matter.
