Alan Clark joined Williams Mullen as a partner in the financial services and real estate group. Clark will work out of the Richmond office. A 20-year veteran of the mortgage lending and banking industry, Clark is a graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. He received a B.S. in commerce, specializing in finance and management, from the University of Virginia.

Jan S. Hoover, 57, president of Arehart Associates, an accounting services and financial consulting company in Waynesboro

Alan W. Myers, 63, former senior vice president for Omni Services, a holding company for several subsidiaries, including companies engaged in textile rental, restroom services, first aid supply distribution, and catalog sales of work garments in Culpeper

Raymond D. Smoot Jr., 66, former chief executive of Virginia Tech Foundation in Blacksburg and chairman of the StellarOne Corporation board

Charles W. Steger, 66, president and chief executive of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg

As previously announced, Raymond D. Smoot Jr. will become the chairman of the board of directors, and Ronald L. Hicks will become the vice chairman of the board.

The company’s board of directors also appointed David G. Bilko, 54, as executive vice president and chief risk officer and Jeffrey W. Farrar, 53, as executive vice president of wealth management, insurance and mortgage effective upon the close of the acquisition.

HCA Virginia’s Parham Doctors’ Hospital announced an exclusive partnership with Matthew Brengman and Gregory Schroder and their practice, Advanced Surgical Partners of Virginia.

Leah Henschen has been named to the board of directors of the Capital Region Land Conservancy. Leah is an estate settlement officer with U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management. Before joining U.S. Trust, Henschen spent time at SunTrust, JPMorgan Private Bank and Virginia Estate & Trust Law. She has a law degree from the University of Richmond and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland.
