The Pitch: Advertising and marketing news for Feb. 24, 2015

Lythos Studios started work this month on a branding and web development contract with Charles City County Public Schools. The agency was also awarded a contract with C Street, a Carytown restaurant, for web development, public relations and a radio campaign on WCVE.

Spurrier Media Group has been awarded a contract with n1Health, a membership-based medical practices network.

The Mom Complex has completed a year-in-review infographic.

The King Agency developed a rebranding campaign for singles’ social club My Social Calendar. The campaign includes TV, radio and digital work, along with the creation of a new logo, and is slated to launch this spring.

ND&P created a 30-second spot for VCU Medical Center that aired on ESPNU. The spot, which highlighted the medical center’s sponsorship of the 2015 UCI Road World Championships, aired during a University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University basketball game.

ND&P also designed a new logo for the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. Branding efforts celebrated the chamber’s 125th anniversary.

ND&P is also teaming with Kim Farlow Communications to promote the Virginia Department of Health’s “Testing Makes Us Stronger” HIV education statewide initiative that will include digital media and grassroots public relations efforts.

Madison+Main is partnering with Burson-Marsteller to develop a strategic communications plan for Virginia Energy Sense, an energy education program under the State Corporation Commission.

Madison+Main has also been selected by YOVASO (Youth of Virginia Speak Out), a nonprofit organization administered by the Virginia State Police to teach teens about traffic safety, to develop a logo for its 2015 summer leadership retreat.

Bon Secours Virginia Health System has launched a statewide brand campaign produced by Free Agents Marketing. The campaign, titled “Good Help for a Lifetime,” includes TV advertisements, four of which aired during the Super Bowl, and billboards, print display ads, airport signage, digital advertising, social media and PR.
